We know how challenging it can be when your child is anxious about school, and we’re here to offer support, understanding, and practical guidance. We’d love you to join us for this supportive online workshop, where you can learn alongside other parent carers who understand what you’re going through.

Are you supporting a child who is anxious about school or struggling to attend?
Join us for a friendly and informative session designed especially for parent carers.
 
Many parent carers who have attended this session previously told us they found it extremely informative and helpful, offering both reassurance and practical ideas they could use straight away.
 
 What we’ll cover:
  • What anxiety is and how it may present in your child
  • The impact anxiety can have on you as a parent/carer
  • An introduction to Emotionally‑Based School Avoidance (EBSA), including insights from Derbyshire research
  • Practical strategies to support your child and reduce barriers to education
 
This workshop will offer understanding, reassurance, and helpful tools you can use at home.
