As part of our school’s ongoing commitment to enriching our students’ understanding of our community around us, we are running a collection for the Chesterfield Food Bank, providing emergency food and support to the local community.
Chesterfield foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis, and relies on the goodwill of local people to donate necessities. Students can bring in voluntary donations of non-perishable food.
What types of food can you donate?
They are particularly in need of long-life milk, long-life juice, tinned fish, coffee, pasta sauces, biscuits and tinned fruits. They have plentiful supplies of soup, baked beans, tea and tinned tomatoes.
When should my child bring the food in?
We ask that students bring food in on the week commencing 19/03/2018. This will be collected on 23/03/2018 and delivered to the foodbank.
