To support students develop their skills for the Resistant Materials course, a ‘desk-tidy’ project was undertaken, with enabled students to work collaboratively. Check out the images of the finished products being presented to staff.
Each group had to interview a teacher as part of the requirements specification process, followed by drawing up the designs and plans.
When it came to creating the actual ‘desk-tidies’, students showed great skill and demonstrated a solid understanding of a whole range of resistant materials to complete the desk-tidies.
Check out the images in the carousel below, to view the finished products as well as seeing just how pleased the teachers are. Staff will be starting the new academic year with a very organised desk!
